He is survived by: his daughters, Robyn Gardner (Grand Forks), Kerri Hjelmstad (Grand Forks) and Michelle Brislin (Jonathan) of Shakopee, MN; and his grandchildren, Keaton Hjelmstad, Callie Hjelmstad, Jay Hjelmstad, Matthew Hjelmstad, Lillian Gardner, Madison Brislin, Bennett Walters and Joseph Brislin.
