With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary L. Stauss of Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on November 2, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stauss and Fern Stauss (Ward); his stepmother Jeanie Stauss; his grandson Kolby Stauss; his sister Roberta (Stacy); and his brother-in-law Bob Schneider.
He is survived by: his wife Merlyn; his sons, Brian Stauss (Andrea) and Brad Stauss (Shanna); his daughter-in-law Sherry; his grandchildren, Katherine, Kyle, Madisyn Stauss and Peyton Anthony; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Luney (Dan), Shirley Enright (Buck), Patty Iverson (Randy) and Dave Schneider (Bonnie).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (1018 18th Ave S, Grand Forks, ND 58201). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
