He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Bakke and Ida Bakke (Ring); his in-laws, George and Donna McEnroe (Abel); and his sister Kirsten Bakke.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie McEnroe of Grand Forks; his sons, Andrew and Becca Bakke (Kadlec); his grandchildren, Claire of Fargo, ND, Luke of Fargo, ND, Audrey of Fargo, ND and Isaac of Fargo, ND; his sons, Tom and Jonetta Bakke (Scotland); his grandchildren, Bergen of Bemidji, MN, Conrad of Bemidji, MN and Graham of Bemidji, MN; his son Jeff; his grandchild Solveig of Grand Forks, ND; his sisters, Bettie Walls and Tina Cowger of Grand Forks; his pet Georgie; and also Arne Bakke of Fairbanks, AK. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Eric requested that donations be directed to the Grand Forks Foundation for Education, Altru Health Foundation, UND School of Medicine, UND Foundation (Wildlife-Game Management Endowment), or United Lutheran Church.
