With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane Olesen of Grand Forks, North Dakota, born in Stratford, Iowa, who passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anders Olesen and Esther Olesen (Scott); and his brother Anton Olesen (Wilma). He is survived by: his wife Kay Swenson; his children, Bryan Olesen (Senada) of Coon Rapids, MN and Deb Colgrove; his grandchildren, Tyler, Bruno (Maddie), Amelia, Darian and Chanceler; and his brother Ron Olesen (Shirley) of Deer River, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
