We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2024, at the age of 100, Donna Louise Haug of Grand Forks, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Willert (Johnson) and Paul Willert Sr.; her husband Edwin Haug; her son-in-law Don Vanek; and her siblings, Gladys, Glenna, Ruby, Vernon, Morris, Warren, Kenny, Meryl and Paul.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Vanek of Grand Forks, ND; her grandchildren, Darren Vanek (Annie), Carter, Harleigh, Jaxson and Kristen Carlson (Justin); her daughter Kathryn Flaat (Steve) of Bemidji, MN; her grandsons, Cole Flaat of Sarasota, FL, Gavin Flaat (Miranda), Connor Flaat (Taylor), Wynter and Owen of Sarasota, FL; and her sister-in-law Rena Willert of Crookston, MN. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Dahl Funeral Home (2029 Central Ave NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fisher Lutheran Church (209 2nd St S, Fisher, MN 56723). A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Fisher Lutheran Cemetery.
