He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hogfoss and Myrtle Hogfoss (Melland); and his sisters, Betty Markholt and Marcia Lightfoot. He is survived by: his wife Mavis; his children, David (Claudia), Michelle Aanstad (Brian) and Daniel Hogfoss (Katie); his grandchildren, Melissa Rauser (Nathan), Joshua Kraft, Katie Howard Devils (Zach), Luke Aanstad, Garrett and Greta Hogfoss; his great grandchildren, Baylie, Averi Rauser, Harrison and Rowyn Howard; his sisters, Elaine Bolstad, Pearl Kotaska and Park River; and his brother-in-law Steve Lightfoot. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Amundson Funeral Home (2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58208). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (900 Park St E, Park River, ND 58233).
