With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David J. Nelson of Grand Forks, North Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Nelson and Margrethe Nelson (Bertelson); and his daughter Ashley. He is survived by: his wife Janet Nelson of Grand Forks; his children, Cynthia Martinez (Billy) of Fargo, Brian Nelson (Carly) of Grand Forks and Kevin Nelson of Grand Forks; and his grandchildren, Madyson Walters, Addylina, Penelope and Gabriella Martinez. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Amundson Funeral Home Chapel (2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58201). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
