He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hamre and Selma Hamre; his sister Judy Watts; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Kraft and Jim O'Brien.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Lynn Christiansen of Grand Forks; his sons, Peter (Samantha) of Grand Forks and Erik (Tanya) of McIntosh; his grandchildren, Lexi, Maci (Blake), Kobe, Braylon, Jameson, Kenzell, Rory, Mickey and Samaya; and his sisters, Shirley Kraft of McIntosh and Marlene O'Brien of St. Louis, MO.. He is also survived by Nieces, nephews and cousins.
