With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice M. Christianson in Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on December 25, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Meinen and Evelyn Meinen (Swoboda); her husband James Christianson; her daughter Suzanne; and her siblings, Willard Meinen, Jupe Meinen and Maryanne Smetana.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Christianson of Grand Forks, ND, Jon Christianson (Kathy), Nancy Gunderson, Lori Christianson of Grand Forks, ND and Tony Christianson (Krystle) of Oshkosh, WI.; her siblings, Clarence Meinen (Emily) of Chippewa Falls, WI, David Meinen (Carolyn) of Cornell, WI, Ronald Meinen (Louise) of Mesa, AZ and Viola Bowe (Les) of Tilden, WI; and her sisters-in-law, Peg Meinen of Bloomer, WI and Loni Meinen of Chippewa Falls, WI.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the God Church. A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
