He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Haines and Esther Haines (Emerson); his siblings, Russel, George, Wesley, Bobby, Laverne and Dellene; and his former wife Karen Rousseau.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim York of Grand and Krystal Roth (Jeff) of Grand; his grandchildren, Bret of Grand Forks and Ashley Roth of Grand Forks; his close friend Duane Cvancara; and his sister Marilyn Jones (Calvin).
