He was predeceased by: his parents, Morley Johnston and Marjorie Johnston (Flaten) of Crystal, ND.. He is survived by: his wife Helen Olson; his son Scott (Leah); his grandchildren, Adaline, Riley, Kaylee, Samantha and Alexis; his son Ryan Grafton (Kim Rost); and his siblings, Harold (Julie), Eleanor (Terry), Norma Dooley, Mabel Prushek (Joe) and Jill Sibley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
