He was predeceased by: his parents, William Callahan and Bessie Callahan (Bruce); and his siblings, Margaret Bolster (Al), Marie Cowley (Joe), Murphy (Harriet), Morris and Marvin Callahan.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Gaustad. He is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family would prefer memorials to the Unity Medical Center or St. John's Catholic Church.
