It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlin Warren Torkelson of Grafton, North Dakota, who passed away on November 28, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Torkelson and Tena Torkelson; and his granddaughter Tina Torkelson. He is survived by: his wife Hope E. Johnson Torkelson; his children, Jeffrey Torkelson (Pam) of Horace, ND and Deborah Torkelson Dusek of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Mark Torkelson (Becky) of West Fargo, ND, Bekki Baumgartner (Jeremy) of Valley City, ND, Lynn Dusek of West Fargo, ND and Lee Dusek (Teresa) of Rice, MN; his great grandchildren, Zach Baumgartner, Colton, Cambree Torkelson, Avery Dusek, Victoria Hope and Archer Lee Dusek; his sister Eileen Baardson; and his close friends, Erin, John Morgan, Bill and Colleen Lykken. He is also survived by several nephews and a niece, 4 cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer memorials to the Walsh County Gun Club or Unity Hospital.
