He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Johnson and Mabel Johnson (Mohagen); and his sisters, Delores Swehla and Jean Paquette. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lindell; his daughters, Cynthia (Les Amb) and Lisa (Roger Held); his grandchildren, Heather Hutchinson (Craig), John Amb (Jessica), Jake Amb (Amanda), Kathryn Good (Tyler), Rachel Houle (Chris), Adam Held (Kayla) and Karly Gefroh (Jerad); his great grandchildren, Sarah, Laura, Emily, Blake, Landen, Carsen, Maddie, Avery, Elsa, Xavier, Kynlea, Reid, Daniel, Evan, Dally, Tate and Norah; and his sisters, Betty Merboth (John) and Debbie Clark (Skip). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grafton Lutheran Church (143 W 5th St, Grafton, ND 58237). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
