He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Ray and Erlene Ray (Morden); his grandmothers, Pearl and Rose; his in-laws, Hjalmer and Gladyce Lien; and his brother-in-law Harlan Lien.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Lien; his children, Philip Ray (Rachel), Heidi Sanger (Travis) and Paul Ray (Keeley); his sister Connie Voeller (Jim); his sister-in-law Gloria Gustafson; and his grandchildren, Rylan, Grace, Gabi, Keegan, Annika, Emily, Kaeden, Fallon, Arden and Farrah.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Grafton Lutheran Church (143 W 5th St, Grafton, ND 58237). A prayer was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
