He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Schneider and Adelinda Schneider (Metzger); his wife Alyce J. Dosmann; his sons, Duane and Gerry; his siblings, Evelyn Prowse and Larry Schneider; and his brothers-in-law, Lyle and Kenny Dosmann.
He is survived by: his children, Denny Schneider (Sally) and Janel Mortenson; and his siblings, Delores Eickenbrock (Lorne), Annabel Kinze (Marlin), Lorraine Imdieke and Cyrilla Shortridge. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
