She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jorgenson and Clara Jorgenson (Bjorsness); her husband Lynn Benson; her son Rodger; her daughter-in-law Denise Benson; her great grandchild Heidon Barta; her stepgrandson Cooper Satterlund; and her siblings, Lawrence Jorgenson, Earl Jorgenson, Clifford Jorgenson, Harriet Westlin and Elizabeth Hammerback.
She is survived by: her children, Doris Haugen (Doug) of Tumwater, WA, Dina Satterlund (Chuck) of Grafton, ND, Robert Benson (Mavis) of Stephen, MN and Alvern Benson of Grafton, ND; and her brother Eugene Jorgenson (Marlene) of Argyle, MN. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to First Lutheran Church of Stephen, MN.
