He is survived by: his mother Shirley Carlson (Moe) of Park River, ND; his wife Susan Madson of Grafton, ND; his children, Kimberly Rost (Ryan Johnston) of Grafton, ND, Daniel Carlson (Stephanie) of Park River, ND and Amie Vasichek (Jim) of Lakota, ND; his grandchildren, Bevan, Chloe, Aidan Rost, Hunter, SiddaLee, Amaryllis, Raelynn Carlson, Lauren, James and Claire Vasichek; his siblings, Darrell Carlson (Sherry), Elaine Dahl (Brad), Mark Carlson and Mitch Carlson (Paulette); and his mother-in-law Avis Madson. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
