He was predeceased by: his parents, David D. Klava and Lois Klava (Johnson); his sister JoAnn Klava (Joey); his brother-in-law Larry Iverson; and his nephew Raymond Klava.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Klava (Katie) of Warsaw, ND, Justin Klava (Gaby) of Atlanta, GA and Joann Klava of Sacramento, CA; his grandsons, Trevor Klava, Trenton Klava and Adrien Charboneau; and his siblings, John Klava (Kris) of Grafton, ND, Judy Klava (Jeff Zejdlik) of Grand Forks, ND, Karen Czapiewski (John) of Minot, ND and Sarah Iverson (Allen Skjerven) of Edinburg, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
