He is survived by: his wife Maria Susana Mendoza; his children, Gloria Merkins of Perham, MN, Juanita Parra (Ernesto) of Laredo, TX, Arturo Villarreal of Grafton, ND and Daniel Villarreal III (Angie) of Fargo, ND; and his sisters, Gloria, Estella and Rosalinda. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
