She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Mayer and Francis Mayer (Reith); her husband Frank Portscheller; her siblings, Eva (Arnold Grosz), Evelyn (Wally Higgins), Elizabeth (Hank Luckey), Irene (Pete Jorda), William, Nick (Kathy) and Edward; her fathers-in-law, Emil, John and Joe Portscheller; and her son-in-law James Schulte.
She is survived by: her children, Peg Portscheller (Ava Lanes) of Parachute, CO, Lori Schulte of Golva, Jeremy, Melissa Gunkel, Drake, Jesse and Sarah Gunkel; her grandchildren, Griffin, Slater, Sophia and Ozwald; her children, Josh (Leigha Gunkel), Kiffin Howard, MiKayla Howard and Connie of Minot, ND; her grandsons, Frank of Fargo, ND and Russ of Parker, CO; and her great grandchild Christopher.
