With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alton Hegvik of Glenfield, North Dakota, who passed away on February 15, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Hegvik and Alette Hegvik (Winther); his wife Janice McDonald; his grandson Shawn Alton Hegvik; and his siblings, Martha, Lasse and John Hegvik.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Hegvik (Patty) of Carrington, ND, Donna Hegvik (Craig Anderson) of Avondale, CO, Alan Hegvik (Mary) of Glenfield, ND, Mark Hegvik of Roseau, MN and Shari Schindler (Bruce) of Grand Forks, ND.. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
