He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sanders and Laura Sanders (Carlson); his wife Carol (Loveland); his siblings, Jim, Harold, Jr., Cliff, Vivian and Beatrice; and his great grandchild Natalie.
He is survived by: his former wife JoAnn Lundeen; his sons, Patrick Sanders (Annette) of Center, ND and Robert Sanders (Alesia) of Glenburn, ND; and his grandchildren, Michael Wells (Sabrina), Amanda Schumann (James), Elizabeth Pistorino (John), Lyle Ross Sanders (Tiffany) and Jesse Sanders (Raye).
