It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Katherine Hoiland of Glenburn, North Dakota, born in Rugby, North Dakota, who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, A. Melford Halvorson and Theresa Halvorson (Bischoff); her brothers, Byron and Duane Halvorson; and her parents-in-law, John and Bernice Hoiland.
She is survived by: her husband John; her stepdaughter Lyndee Heser (Tyler); her stepgrandsons, Teagan and Holden; her siblings, Judith Railsback (George), Karla Johanson (Douglas) and Mark Halvorson; her sister-in-law Debra Kunkel (Halvorson); her niece Brenda Halvorson; and her grandchildren, Emma, Brettley, Henry, Nick Railsback, Thomaston, Jake Railsback, Katie Johanson (Kevin Moore), Mary Johanson, Christopher Johanson and Rachel Johanson.
