It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Stanley Carlson of Glenburn, North Dakota, who passed away on November 15, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tennis Carlson and Gelina Carlson; his wife Bernice Christianson; and his siblings, Ernest Carlson, Gladys Hofland, Hartley Carlson, Maybelle Carlson, Vernon Carlson, Lyla Elefson and Vivian Adams.
He is survived by: his brother Lester Carlson; his children, Nancy Halvorson (Ron) of Moorhead, Gary Carlson of Rapid City, Pam Carlson (Ed) of Grand Forks and Keith Carlson (Charlotte) of Eagan; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Willging (Peter), Susan Hanson (Mickey), Laura Schirber (Scott), Sara Halvorson (Mick Dahlberg), Christine Kruse (Seth), David Carlson (Cecile), Rebecca Carlson and Elizabeth Carlson. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Born during the 1918 Spanish Flu Pandemic, he was one of nine siblings growing up on a farm in northwestern North Dakota during the trials of the Great Depression.
