He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sr. Sanders and Laura Sanders (Carlson); his siblings, Vivian Sanders, Beatrice Brooks, Jim Sanders and Harold Sanders Jr.; his parents-in-law, Jack and Rhoda Polen; and his brothers, Craig Sanders and Marvy Mariner.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his stepdaughter Danielle Marie; his children, John Sutcliffe (Sandy) of Stanchfield, MN, William H. Sanders, Marvin Sanders (Toni) of Glenburn, ND, Clifford R. Sanders Jr. (Ladina) of Clifford, ND, James N. Sanders and Danielle M. Peppard (Mike) of Lansford, ND; his grandchildren, Brian Sutcliffe (LeAnne), Josh Sutcliffe, Andy Sutcliffe, William Sanders Jr., Tyler Apman, Hailey Becker, Jayden Christensen, Wyatt Sanders, Terrah King, Zach Adams, Erick Adams, Cianah Sanders (Carter), Cristyen Peppard, Jonathon Peppard, Mikaela Peppard and JoseLynne Griffin; and his brother Lyle Sanders (JoAnn).
