He was predeceased by: his father Dumond Stiefel; his stepfather Adolph Schnaidt; and his brother Richard Stiefel. He is survived by: his mother Irene Schnaidt (Wetzel) of Hebron; his siblings, Sandy Lang (Donn) of Bismarck, Jody Stiefel of Hebron and John Schnaidt (Amanda) of Dickinson; his nephew Jason Stiefel (Jen); and his nieces, Piper Schnaidt of Dickinson and McKenna Akovenko of Mandan.
