We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2025, at the age of 99, Mary Gietzen of Glen Ullin, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, L. E. Jr. Heaton (Jake) and Ethel Heaton (McKee); her husband William Gietzen; her children, Gene, James, Mary Kay and Mark; and her daughter-in-law Anh Gietzen.
She is survived by: her children, Russell, Glenn (Linda), Gregory (Lan), Aaron, Hilary (Sara), Peter (Cindy), Frederick, Margaret Gietzen, Anna Brown (Jay), Virginia Saiki (John) and Catherine Holle (Charlie); her daughter-in-law Rita Gietzen; and her sisters, Geneva Kurtz and Virginia Benz. She is also survived by 63 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
