She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gartner and Barbara Gartner (Loren). She is survived by: her husband Virgil; her children, Sandy Gerving (Rob) of Glen Ullin, Terri Tyree (Mike) of North Ft, Connie Bailey (John) of Lakeland, Fla., Tammy Swift Shone (Randy) of West Fargo and Gary Swift (Karen); her grandchildren, Eric Gerving of Bismarck, Sara Farrell (James) of Glen Ullin, Kari Schaaf (Daniel) of Hebron, N. D. and Courtney Bailey of Oxford, Miss; her sister-in-law Avis Halpern (Ethel Flynn); and also George Gartner of Billings, Mont. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (204 W Ash Ave, Glen Ullin, ND 58631). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
