She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wiege and Rebecca Wiege (Scheuffele); her husband Reinhold Kitzan; and her siblings, Edwin Wiege, Harry Wiege, Esther Wiege, Edna Wiege and Eleanor Harper.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Kitzan (Sandi) of Bismarck, ND, Renee Sloan (David) of Salem, OR., Brenda Opp (David), Victoria Moore (Joe Armijo) and Fayette Atkinson (Timothy); her grandchildren, Shana Gerving (Allan), Nicol Weigel (Cameron), George Wallace (Larissa), Kurt Sloan (Leslie), Kelly Szep (Zsolt), Kent Sloan, Melanie Wentz (Jason), Joshua Opp (Dana), Joel Opp (Jamie), Rachael Moore, Brittany Moore (Sarah Sears), Jessica Moore, Isaac Pavlicek (Kristen Richter) and Shannon Johnson (Nick); her great grandchildren, Ashley, Ethan, Ryan, Owen Gerving, Liam, Leyton Weigel, Ayana, Zaria, Edric, Renzo Wallace, Logan, Brady Sloan, Jared, Jonah Colin, Sebastian, Aidan Szep, Patrick Sloan, Taylor, Alaina, Jesse Wentz, Carter, Dylan Opp, Natalie Ballon (Dave), Jamison, Wyatt Opp, Jordan, Jayda Pavlicek, Aurora and Abigail Johnson; her brother Michael Wiege (Arlene); and her sisters-in-law, Dorene Wiege, Aggie Kitzan and Eleanor Kitzan. She is also survived by several cousins and numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
