He is survived by: his wife Diane Erhardt; his daughter Tammy (Rodney Kvalvog); his grandchild Colby of Fargo; his daughter Nola (Shawn McNeally); his grandchildren, Kieran and Brynn of Fargo; his son Jon of Hettinger; his friend Deb Fitterer of Glen Ullin; his siblings, Bill Kohler of Dickinson, Arlene Hord of Colorado, John Kohler (Sandy) of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Jim Kohler (Kathy) of Mandan, Shirley Staiger (Russ) of Bismarck and Tom Kohler (Marsha Bechtold) of Glen Ullin; and also, Randy Schantz (Danielle), Chay, Izzy and Gene. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
