He is survived by: his sister Florence Berger; his children, Tim Schaaf of Mandan, Scott Schaaf (Michele) of Mandan, Jeff Schaaf of Sturgis, SD, Mark Schaaf of Trinity, AL, Cody Schaaf (Keri), Connie Kitzan (Brian), Catherine Franklund (Wally) of Northville, MN, Corrine Chapinski (Joe) of Deadwood, SD and Trina Schaaf (Jody Ganje); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Jarrett, Jayden, Mandy, Jasmine, Jeremy, Victor, Casey and Cadence; and his stepgrandchildren, Shannon and Mitchell. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
