He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bertsch; his stepsons, Paul and Jay Peterson; his siblings, Viola Prischmann and Herbert Bertsch; and his siblings-in-law, Susan Ficek, Joanne Tkach, Betty Tkach, Tim Tkach (Brenda) and Jerome Koehler.
