He is survived by: his children, Gary Hoff (Svitlana), Cherry Kennedy (Richard), Patricia Helgeson (David) of Minot, ND, Dale Hoff (Tammy) of Cole Harbor, ND, Deann Yelton (Ronald) of Louisville, KY, Ricky Hoff (Shannon) and Thirteen; and his sister-in-law Sharron Smeltzer-Darling of Leeds, ND. He is also survived by Thirteen grandchildren: seventeen great-grandchildren.
