She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamont Kurtz and Helen Kurtz (Lewis); her husband Junior Peterson; and her siblings, LaRoy Kurtz, Murrill Mertz, Katheleen "Kitty" Peterson, Winnafred Wahl, Leona Ensrude, Lanora Eslinger and Thelma Davenport. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
