She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sorensen and Ruby Sorensen (Baluski); her brothers, Kelly Sorensen and Roger Sorensen; her mother-in-law Rose Birkholz; and her siblings-in-law, Edwin Birkholz (Adeline), David Birkholz (Shirley), Gene Ness and Lorraine Lucas (Roy).
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Ann "Kim" (Daryl) of Douglas; her grandsons, Warner and Conrad; her great grandchild Sharlotte; her husband Melvin of Garrison; her daughter Hollie Birkholz (Chris Perejda) of Denver, CO; her great grandchild Stella; and her sisters, Merle Torkelson of Washburn, ND, Arlene Crowder (Wayne) of Sacramento, CA and Carol Jean (Dan). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
