He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Giffey; his parents-in-law, Ronald and Ida Wagner; his brother-in-law Bruce Wagner; and his nephew Curtis Giffey.
He is survived by: his mother Venetia Giffey of Garrison, ND; his wife Sandy Wagner; his children, Travis Giffey (Gail) of Sparta, TN, Trista Rust (Josh) of Mercer, ND and Tawna Hermanson (Derick) of Fargo, ND; his siblings, Kandis Horn (Tracy) of Ryder, ND, Kelly Giffey (Colette) of Roseglen, ND and Kari Evenson (Jerry) of Coleharbor, ND; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Wagner of West Hills, CA, Ross Wagner (Lynette) of Brainerd, MN, Reed Wagner (Kim Cooke) of Bloomington, MN and Steve Wagner (Sherry) of Hancock, MN. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 10 nieces and nephews.
