He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude and Gladys (Jerome); his children, Karen and Donald; his siblings, Claude, Jr., Ray, Larry, Howard and Eunice; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Wehmhoefer and Lloyd Faydo.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Wehmhoefer; his children, David (Karin), Kim (Josh) and Cindy Mettler (Lonnie); his brother Marshall; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Wehmhoefer, Janice Wehmhoefer (David Hansen), Shirley Faydo, Ruby Black (Fred) and Gail Prostrollo; and his grandchildren, Rikki (Ryan Fahrmann), Ryan Hensley (Andrea), Michael Mettler, Kristen Brandt (Benjamin), Craig Mettler (Reese), Thomas Robinson (Mandy), Aaron Mettler, Robby Robinson and Jay Robinson (Sara). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
