Ione Metz Obituary
The memory of Ione Metz of Garrison, North Dakota, who passed away on November 10, 2024 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Reimann and Ida Reimann (Arlt); her husband Rollin "Rollie" Metz; her son Rollin Bradley Metz; and her siblings, Marilyn Engel, Richard Reimann and Bernald Reimann.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Leslie Barney (Chuck); her grandchildren, Christopher Barney (Katelynn), Kelsey Aller (Zach) and Danielle Metz; her great grandchildren, Nellijun Kaseman, Maisie Aller, Mila Barney, Finn Aller and Olivia Barney; and her sister Sharon Briggs (Arnold).
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas Family Funeral Home (304 Main St S, Minot, ND 58701). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (120 5th Ave NW, Minot, ND 58703).
Memorials are preferred to the Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, International Music Camp, or the organization of the donor's choice.
