He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Schwarz and Hilda Schwarz (Ude); his siblings, Albert Schwarz and Lydia Hochhalter; his siblings-in-law, Harold Hochhalter, Raymond Maas, Arthur Arnt, Steven Arnt, James Johnson and Helen Schwarz; and his nephews, Jimmy Johnson, Trevor Arnt and Troy Schwarz.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Arnt; his children, Carla Jaeger (David) of Williston, Craig Schwarz (Renee) of Rowlett, Texas, Chris Schwarz (Julie) of Bismarck and Carrie Francis (Doug) of Sawyer; his grandchildren, Lindsey Grullon (Jon) of Williston, Madison Jaeger of Grand Forks, Emily Jaeger, Savannah Schwarz of Rowlett, Texas, Jordan Schwarz of Fort Collins, Colorado, Jacob Schwarz of Bismarck, Brock Francis (Amber) of Velva, Coltan and Allison Francis of Sawyer; his siblings, Alvin Schwarz (Evie), Frieda Maas, Elmer Schwarz (Arlene), Wilmer Schwarz (Lois), Leo (JoAnn) and Martin (Susan); and his sisters-in-law, LaRue Schwarz, Arlene Johnson, Peggy Arnt and Bobbi Jo Arnt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
