He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edwards and Sophia Edwards (Hacanson); his parents-in-law, Andrew and Louisa Frank; his siblings, Mildred Jackson (Laverne), Edith Loudon (Michael), Ella Brodell (Edward), Inez McRae (Melford), Vera Samuelson (Reuben), Charles Edwards (Ruth), Lloyd "Jim" Edwards (Mildred), Roy and Alvin; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Lyson Edwards and Leonard Mead.
He is survived by: his brother Duane Edwards, Sr. (Maria); and his sister-in-law Carol Frank (Garrison). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home (48 3rd St NE, Garrison, ND 58540). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (505 2nd St NW, Garrison, ND 58540).
