It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Eugene Peterson of Garrison, North Dakota, who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn F. Peterson and Gladys A. Peterson (Glaholt); his brother Leroy Peterson; his son-in-law Billy Ray Slaven; and his grandson Julian.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Fjeld; his children, Doug Peterson and Tamera Slaven; his granddaughter Taylor Slaven; his great grandchild Lillian Tincher; his sister DelRaye Johansen; and his sister-in-law Sandra Peterson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials are preferred to Minot Congregational United Church of Christ or the Parkinson's Foundation.
