She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Ostby; her son Steven; her parents, Newell Wretling and Emma Wretling; her siblings, Darlene "Dolly" Fischer, Donald, Newell, Robert and John Gordan Wretling; and her siblings-in-law, Jay Foree, Fred Mahn, Bernard Bendickson, Norman Pigeon, Vernon Ostby, David Birkholz and Shirley Birkholz.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Engel (Tim) of Beulah, ND, Shari Mahoney and Stuart Ostby; her grandchildren, Chad Engel (Andrea), Amy Cline (Dave), Desire Engel Sarah (Mike Mohl) and Dominique Stoney Erin Ostby (Chris Flux Gilbert); her great grandchildren, Kyran, Kayven, Tyler, Fiona, Lauren, Violet and Eleanor; and her siblings-in-law, Kathy Folk (Gary), Robert Fischer (Anne), Pat Ostby, Carol Foree, Audrey Mohn, Lora Bendickson and LeAnn Pigeon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
