He is survived by: his children, Glenn R. Ackerman (Elaine), Gloria Lauf (Jerry) of LaMoure, N. D. and Linda Kienzle (David) of Gackle, N. D.; his brother Elmer Ackerman of Hutchison, MN.; his grandchildren, Ben Lauf (Erin), Alicia Lauf, Michelle Samek (Matt), Christy Meierhofer (Kevin), Jamie Kienzle and Billy Kienzle; and his great grandchildren, Londyn, Hollynd, Briar, Reuben, Lyla, Ashley, Jayden, Reannon, Mila and Jaxson.
