He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Mayer and Alvina Mayer (Morlock); and his sisters, Lillian Mayer and Darlene Elsner. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Lloyd Elsner; his nephews, Dirk and Kevin Elsner; his niece Renae Devaul; and his great-nieces, Nicole and Jessica.
