He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosina Henke (Mayer) and Adolph Henke; and his siblings, Edmund Henke and Matilda Henke. He is survived by: his wife Janet (Miller); his children, JJ (Shelly) of Cavalier, ND, Jolene Pane (Scott) of Lakeport, CA and Joey (Heather) of Denver, CO; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Henke of Gackle, ND, Darlene Trautman of Medina, ND, Hulda Peterson of Holdrege, NE, LorRaine Rivinius (Ralph) of Streeter, ND and Marvin Miller (JoAnne) of Gackle, ND.. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Gackle, the Western ND Honor flight or the Gackle American Legion.
