She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jesse McKay and Angeline McKay (Brown); her children, Roger Yankton Jr., Ryan Yankton Sr. and Remi Yankton; her grandchildren, Taniesha, Kiara, Lander, Jonathan, Mallory, Roger III, Karsen, Ryan, Kasen, Shyla, Labron, Caliyah, Tyonna, Terran, Terissa, Daellionna and Drevyn; her great grandchildren, Kyren, Kemper, Kensley, Paisley, Lillijo, Jonathan Jr., Minsu, Camden and Caius; her siblings, Ramona Chaske (John), Deanna McKay, Rosita McKay, Donna Youngman, Marilyn Thompson, Sherry Thompson, Cindy Thompson, Ronald McKay Sr. (Connie), Corbett McKay, Roger McKay, Murray McKay (Donna) and Calvin Thompson; her nephew John Chaske Jr.; and her niece Melissa Chaske. She was also cherished by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
A procession was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Crow Hill Wellness Center. A wake was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
