He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leo Hoffner and Arlene Hoffner (Brown); his wife Lorna; his children, Jennifer and Toby; his stepchildren, Trina, Kevin (Dani), Clarise (Delmer), Mike (Taylor) and Dion; his siblings, Bernadette Roller (Vern) of Bismarck, ND, Terence Hoffner (Tracy) of Algona, WA, Jerald Hoffner (Karla) of West Fargo, ND and Todd Hoffner (Melodee) of Eagle Lake, MN; his sister-in-law Karen Hoffner of Maddock, ND; his son Monte Hoffner; his brother Michael "Mickey" Hoffner; his mother-in-law Sylvia Brownshield; his grandparents, George, Elizabeth Hoffner, Alfred and Mabel Brown; and his niece Nicole Roller. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
