He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; his daughter Vickie Johnson; his grandchildren, Jimmy Holub and Heather Olson; his cousin Dennis Schroeder; his sister Dorothy Pederson; his brothers-in-law, Ralph Peterson, Orville Pederson and John Erickson; and his sisters, Delores Erickson and Adeline Erickson.
He is survived by: his children, Corlys Carlblom (Dennis) of Pelican Rapids, MN, Renee Olson (David) of Fargo, ND, Norma Holub (Frank) of Verona, ND, Gayle Wiemann (Dennis) of Collierville, TN and Joe Billing (Debbie) of Lisbon, ND; his son-in-law Joe Johnson of Fort Ransom, ND.; his grandchildren, Todd (Lilly), Chad (Kristen), Sara (Michael), Stetz, Nancy (Adam), John Holub, Jessica (Dean), Sabot, Greg (Lisa), Jeremy Wiemann (Amanda), Bob (Kara) and Alicia Sorby (Tyler); and also, Joe and Helene. He is also survived by 4 nieces and 3 nephews.
