He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Roach and Leona Roach; his wife Gloriann "Googs"; his siblings, Delores Ronning (Hilmer), David (Shirley) and Gerald (Sharon); and his great grandchild Owen Mrozek.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick (Adrianna), Anne, Rita Haugen (Dale), Rosemary and Gerry (Vicki).
"In lieu of flowers, Jim's wish was that memorials be donated to Hospice of Red River Valley (1701 38th St. S. Suite 101, Fargo, ND 58103.)".
